trade policy is an important area of law; its importance continues to
grow. This guide will provide links to resources in the Hamline Law
Library, as well as to sources outside the law library.
The North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, came into being in December, 1993 with the passage of Public L. No. 103-182, 107 Stat. 2057). There is a legislative history available in HeinOnline
titled North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA): Documents and
Matereials Including a Legislative History of the North American Free
Trade Agreement Implementation Act: Public Law 103-182.
Regulatations implementing NAFTA are found in the Federal Register. The Federal Register is available online at GPOaccess.gov, HeinOnline, Westlaw and LexisNexis.
